I discovered the creative side of me a bit later in life. I went back to college to get a second bachelor's (in writing, the first is in ecology) at the ripe age of 40 (after selling a restaurant that my mom and I started). Since then, I've been involved with the creation of a literary journal followed by the co-founding of a small press. During that time, I also picked up a camera for the first time since childhood and found that I really enjoy the frustrations that come with trying to get that one "perfect" shot. I enjoy working with clients on projects--it's a give-and-take that ends in an end-product that the client and I can both be proud of.
